What we collect

• Your account: your name, your email, your time zone, and a record that you agreed when you signed up.
• Your children's conversations with Mera, saved as text transcripts.
• What you tell us in Robot Setup, your watch-for list, the replies you mark as bad, and your fixes.
• Records of how much Merabot is used and what it costs to run.

We use audio only to understand what your child says and to make Mera's voice. We never store it.

Mera's memory

Mera can remember what your child likes to be called and up to six favorites. She saves them only when your child asks her to remember.

You can see them and delete them in Setup. Your child can also ask Mera to forget.

How conversations are processed

Mera's words come from AI models we reach through Vercel AI Gateway. The model providers keep none of your data (zero data retention).

Mera's check, the safety look after each conversation, and the Assistant in the parent section work the same way, with zero data retention too.

Your family's data isn't used to train AI models.

Who processes data for us

• Supabase: our database and sign-in.
• Vercel: hosting and the AI Gateway.
• The AI model providers behind the Gateway.
• Stripe: payments, when they open.
• Our email provider.

What parents see

In the parent section you can read every conversation, with its notes and flags. The section is behind your PIN.

After 5 wrong tries, the PIN locks the section for 15 minutes.

When we read conversations

When you use "Report to Merabot" with a conversation attached, we read that conversation to look into it.

When you mark one of Mera's replies as bad, we review it to make Mera better.

How long we keep it

• Conversation transcripts, Mera's log of what she did in a conversation, and your chat with the Assistant: 60 days.
• Notes, flags and the replies you marked: until you delete them or your account.

Deleting your data

"Delete all data" removes every conversation, note and flag, Mera's memory and your chat with the Assistant. It keeps your account's settings: Robot Setup, the replies you marked and your fixes, your PIN, your plan and Mera's look.

"Delete account" removes everything.

Parental consent

Only a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older may sign up. When you sign up, you agree for your children.

We'll tell you when this policy changes. The date at the top shows which version you're reading.
